Sometimes we miss the beauty close by. Here are a few photos from a scenic park overlooking the Potomac River that we took several years ago. The beauty of the park still remains in my mind as well as the peaceful solitude. While there was a group of tourists there earlier, for much of the evening we were alone to enjoy the beauty of this little park by the river. For more scenic photos, visit

Looks like a lovely part of the Potomac River. I have been birding along many parts of the Potomac River. It is beautiful. Have a lovely weekend!
